Intarsia refined

Intarsia is a great way to add fun graphics to your knitwear, as demonstrated by the Betsy Johnson sweater we pointed out in a previous blog post. But what if your style is a bit more refined? Not to worry, Michael Kors gives us this great idea:

It's hard to see in the small photo, but all the detailing done in black is not sewn on, it's knit in.

This example by L.A.M.B. does appear to have some elements that are sewn on, but it has the same look as the Michael Kors sweater, perhaps indicating that faux collars and buttons are becoming a trend?

I like the first sweater but I detest Michale Kors so I would not buy this sweater.<br>I luv the 2nd sweater I would buy or make this.
